The capacity of the refrigerator is 295 litres. The refrigerator compartment holds 209 litres while the storage freezer that is mounted on the bottom holds 89 millilitres. The refrigerator isn't frost free and will require manual defrosting at times to ensure its performance is at its best. The drawer for chilled drinks is a nice touch and there's plenty of room in the crisper drawer for fresh fruits and vegetables.
The refrigerator scored an A+ for energy efficiency. This is the lowest efficiency we've ever measured, and it is a good outcome for an appliance of this price. The 42dB noise score was a good score. It's still a bit louder than some of the cheaper models we tested, but much quieter than the older models which made a lot of noise.
Swan has kept its design simple which is an advantage when it comes to ease-of-use. The fridge features an LED light bulb as well as an adjustable temperature control. The temperature was stable. The top and middle shelves were only one or two degrees to each side of the mean, whereas the salad drawer stayed at 2oC. However we did notice it was very warm at the back and could be a problem in warmer rooms.

The fridge also requires manual defrosting from time time, but it is rated as A+ in energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient fridge freezers on our Best Buy chart, keeping your energy bills low.
